Assess Medical Records and Analyze the Case

• Organize medical records in a concise way to allow for easy reference
• Prepare an analysis of the incident and a chronology of relevant events, diagnostic studies and procedures

• Develop case-specific written reports for the attorney's use as study tools

Medical Research to Support the Case

• Search for and summarize medical and nursing literature and integrate this into the case analysis
• Assist with exhibit preparation and other demonstrative evidence

Assist with Discovery

• Identify and review all relevant medical records, polices and procedures, standards of care, billing records, along with any other documentation needed/ physical evidence
• Consult with health care providers as needed
• Assist in identifying factors that may have caused or contributed to the alleged damages/injuries

Our Fee Schedule

Lighthouse RN and Associates bills on an hourly basis for all professional services except expert witness location. Fees may vary depending on the parameters of the case, but in general, the following apply:

• Retainer Fee $500.00 (due at beginning of case evaluation)
• Legal Nurse Consultant $75.00 / hour
• Expert Witness Location $1200.00/ expert
• Delivery/ Postage/ Copies At Cost
• Rush Requests (within 1 week) $120.00/ hour (available only if time permits)
